| I have two questions which I think Someone 'round here can answer, and might as well be public:
Firstly, is there a way to keep one's self from switching weapons automatically when picking up a "better" one than the one you're weilding? this happens to me a lot in KB, very frustrating.....
&
Is there any way to change the crosshair? Those 5 dots should be lines in my opinion....
current: . . . . . u see? (sorta...)
hoped for: | _ . _ |
Anyone? Halp plz? Thnx U's in advance.

| first, go to options and somewhere in there would be a box that says auto weapon switch or something similar, could be on the name page, i think its probably on controls, you might have to hit controls:advanced, anyway, that box should be unchecked (or checked if it says disable)
the second question, yes and no, if we were ever to play in cal matches we would be required to use stock settings, that means no custom skins. and what your asking for could be downloaded at fps banana it is a custom crosshair skin | |

| A built-in Combine screen overlay would be: . r_screenoverlay effects/combine_binocoverlay.vmt . r_screenoverlay effects/tp_eyefx/tp_eyefx.vmt I'm not sure if this would work in DM though. To turn off auto weapon switch (it is not in advanced keyboard. It's FAST Weapon Switch. I have that on instead of binds. Works well enough for me). I found it (if you need anything else, consult the URL) . cl_autoweapswitch 0 (I would not recommend it) . http://www.hl2world.com/wiki/index.php/Half_Life_2_Client_Console_Commands | |

| um, what are you guys talking about?
I meant how , when you have out E.G. crowbar and you run over ANY weapon you haven't already picked up, it auto switches you to that weapon.
How to keep it from doing so?
As to Cal-matches, are SW and KB usually under that system? if they aren't could someone tell when I might see a cal match, because as far as I know I don't DO cal-matches.
I know what they are, just not under what circumstances.
idfk Is this clearer? | |
